Tai Hing Roast was founded by Mr. Ken Chan in 1989. Located in Tai On Building, Saiwanho, the small fast-food eatery serving siu-mei(roast food) has gradually evolved into a roast food theme restaurant chain. The group currently has over 30 shops all around Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The brands under the group include Tai Hing Roast Restaurant and Tai Hing New Century.  

The Tai Hing brand combines elements of the traditional and the modern. While retaining the essence of traditional cuisines, it also successfully upgrades the tea café concept, allowing customers to enjoy local food like roasts and milk tea at a more comfortable environment with better service.

Today Tai Hing has diversified its business to include not only roasts but also milk tea, Western dishes and Chinese specialties in its menu. In recent years, the group is also dedicated to developing other food markets like canned Hong Kong-styled milk tea, canned Borsch, moon cakes, Chinese sausages and Basin Dishes (Chinese “Poon Choi”).

The group has a large and effective supporting team. With the spacious (over 40,000 sq. ft.) central production and distribution center in Fo Tan in use since 2008, the group can both improve support for its branches and open up other food and beverage markets such as school lunchbox catering, organization catering, and providing processed food for other restaurants. Looking ahead, the Tai Hing group will continue to expand its operation and bring more cuisines and surprises to its customers.
